Sarnelli House is always keen to support our staff in their development and ability to manage and look after the children in their care. With this in mind, last week Fr. James invited the Good Shepherd Sisters to run a two day seminar for all staff, focusing on self-care and self-awareness. The sessions dealt with learning how to manage feelings and deal with setbacks, acknowledging the limits of just one person but ensuring the carers are cared for too. The staff worked together and shared ideas and experiences. Thank you to Sr. Pranee and her team at the Good Shepherd Sisters for running the seminars.
